I thought June got here quickly, but June is past & July was here in the blink of an eye!  Hard to believe.....  time flies when you're having fun I guess! I've done a bit of stitching - did this on Saturday night & Sunday a.m. & gave it to my dad with his other gifts for Father's Day... I think it's pretty cute.  It's Pine Mtn's "My Dad" in case anyone is interested.  I added the JABC Buttons to it.  I'm also still stitching on the Prairie Schooler for the friendship RR I'm doing with Nicole, Karen & Faye.  HOPE to finish it this week, wish me luck! I stopped at my parent's this afternoon on the way home from the pool for more veggies from the garden & look what my mom bought for me this a.m.!  Isn't it pretty?  I've always wanted a "crystal basket", but never bought one.  This one is large & heavy too - so pretty! She found this at the thrift shop for $3.  WHAT A DEAL!!!  And speaking of the pool - this is where we've been spending some time lately.   We're "pool sitting" until D&L return from CT in August.  Peaceful isn't it?  They...

A package came in the mail from Karen the other day, and look what was in it..... lovely cards that she made for me - look at the detail - the stamp on the envelope flap and she even stamps and hand signs the back of each one.  I think Karen is very talented and very sweet!  And since we're talking about sweet - look at what she sent my niece, Hannah.... After Karen, I think Hannah & her daddy (my bil) are the biggest Clemson fans I know, just like Karen &  her DH.  She made this for Hannah - isn't it CUTE?  Actually, I like it and tried to get Hannah to leave it with me & just visit it often,  but she said a firm "no" with a big smile on her face.  :-)  Thanks again Karen, we both really appreciate your kindness!!
