Home from Vacation....

I honestly don't think there are many other things as beautiful as the sunrise over the ocean. We spent the past week at Garden City Beach (just south of Myrtle Beach) where Ray & I got married & lived before moving to where we live now. It was great to be up each morning to see the sunrise over the ocean and to do whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. I felt rested for the first time in a long time, even though we spent a lot of time running around. It was fun & I'm glad we were able to go. I could have stayed on the balcony all day long (pics are from the balcony), but the wind was cool some of the time. Luckily, the entire front wall was glass, so we had a great view even being inside, and we left the door open to hear the ocean.

And here is another thing I don't think I've ever seen - a double rainbow over the ocean where you could see both ends. This was taken Tuesday evening just before dusk after a day of rain (the only day it rained, thank goodness!) I wish I could do ONE large picture, but it was too far across to get in one shot.... Lovely though isn't it?
